Cookie Policy
Version: 1.0 Effective date: August 17, 2026 Last updated: August 17, 2026
The short answer
trabeate.com sets no cookies at all.
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use tracking pixels. We do not use third-party analytics. We do not follow you across other websites, and we have no relationship with any advertising network.
That is why you do not see a cookie consent banner on our site — there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask you before setting anything non-essential.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Related technologies include local storage and session storage, which work similarly, and tracking pixels — tiny invisible images used to record that you visited a page.
Cookies are commonly used for two very different things: making a website work (staying signed in, remembering a preference) and watching what you do (building a profile, targeting ads).
We use the first kind. We do not use the second kind.
This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
2. What we set today
trabeate.com is currently a waitlist page. It sets no cookies.
We checked this in a browser on August 13, 2026. If it ever changes, this page changes with it — and we will ask you before setting anything that is not strictly necessary to run the site.
One thing we do store
If you switch the site between its light and dark appearance, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name trabeate-theme, so the page looks the way you left it the next time you visit.
It is set only if you use that switch. It stays on your device, it is never sent to us, and it says nothing about who you are. Clearing your browser's stored data for this site removes it.
What protects the waitlist form
Because we set no cookies, the signup form is protected on our side rather than in your browser. Requests are rate-limited before they reach us, and every submission is checked on our servers. None of that requires storing anything on your device.
What we do not set
We do not use any of the following on trabeate.com:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Tracking pixels of any kind — no Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, or any other
- Third-party analytics cookies — no Google Analytics
- Session recording, heatmap, or replay tools
- Embedded social media widgets or share buttons
- Cross-site or cross-device tracking
- Any cookie shared with a data broker or advertising network
We link to our accounts on X, Instagram, and Threads. Those are ordinary links, not embedded widgets — loading trabeate.com does not report anything to those platforms. Once you click through, you are on their website and subject to their policies.
3. Information we receive without cookies
Some information reaches us simply because you loaded a page — it arrives with the request itself, not through a cookie:
- Your IP address
- Your device type (phone, tablet, computer) and operating system
- Which page was requested and when, and the referring link if your browser sends one
This is recorded in ordinary web server logs. We do not run any analytics platform on trabeate.com (see §4), and we do not build a profile from it. It is described in more detail in our Privacy Policy, §3.2, along with how long we keep it.
Blocking cookies will not prevent us receiving this, because it does not involve cookies. It does stay with us, though — we do not send it to any advertising network or data broker.
4. Analytics
We do not currently use any analytics platform on trabeate.com.
We may add one later. If we do:
- We will name it on this page before or when we start using it
- We will prefer a privacy-respecting, cookieless option
- If we ever adopt something that sets non-essential cookies or tracks you, we will ask for your consent first and provide a way to decline
We are not planning to run advertising pixels or retargeting.
5. When the application launches (not yet in effect)
When app.trabeate.com becomes available, it will need a small number of additional strictly necessary cookies to work:
- Authentication — to keep you signed in as you move between pages
- Session management — to maintain your session securely
- Security — to protect against cross-site request forgery
We may also add preference cookies to remember choices you make, like a light or dark theme. Those are not necessary for the app to work, so we will let you decline them.
We will update this page with the specifics, including cookie names, before the application launches.
6. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode, which discards cookies when you close the window.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser signal telling websites not to sell or share your personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing for a GPC signal to opt you out of. If that ever changes, we will honor GPC signals before it does.
Do Not Track (DNT) is an older browser signal with no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond. We do not respond to DNT signals — though in our case this makes no practical difference, since we do not track you across other websites regardless. We disclose this because California law requires it.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever our use of cookies changes, and we keep every version.
If we ever start using a cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and obtain your consent before setting it.
Minor changes take effect when posted. Material changes are posted with a future effective date at least 30 days out.
